Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 Ts of Italian season
- 1 Ts oregano
- 2 cups water
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce.... any kind
- 8 ounces uncooked rotini pasta
- 1 1/2 cups shredded jack cheese
Instructions
- Preheat a large deep skillet over medium heat. Cook pasta according to instructions on the package.
- Add ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook til no longer pink.
- stirring occasionally until cooked thoroughly.
- Drain grease. Add pasta sauce and other spices.
- Stir cheese into ground beef then stir in water, and pasta noodles.
- Bring mixture to a low boil.
- Stir, cover and reduce heat to a simmer.
- Cook for about 15 minutes , make sure pasta is tender.
- Turn off heat and make sure cheese is mixed well.
- Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
- Serve with optional toppings if desired. I used parsley flakes.
